Westbrook Racing looks to reclaim podium form in Dubrovnik
Westbrook Racing heads to the crystal-clear waters of Dubrovnik this weekend for the third round of the UIM E1 World Championship, determined to return to the Podium and reignite its push to the top of the season overall standings.
The team, co-owned by Will Smith, currently 3rd in the Championship, with 38 pts, has shown promise in the opening rounds in Jeddah and Doha but has been suffered with technical challenges. With a renewed focus and issues remedied during the break since Doha, Westbrook Racing is aiming to convert consistency into results when racing kicks off this Friday and Saturday in the heart of the Adriatic.
“For us overall, consistency is key,” said Team Principal Phil Allen. “We’ve shown pace in flashes, but it’s been far too long since we’ve been on the podium. We need to change that this week. The team has been working hard to fix the technical issues that affected us in the previous rounds. The goal is clear: score regular points, deliver clean races, and get back to where we belong — fighting at the front.”
As the world turns its attention to Dubrovnik and the World Ocean Conference takes place in Nice, Westbrook Racing is also reinforcing its position as a sustainability leader in the E1 series.
The team is actively engaging in a number of initiatives throughout the week, including education programs, media activations, and joint efforts with local and global partners to raise awareness about ocean protection.
“Performance matters, but so does purpose,” said pilot Lucas Ordoñez. “E1 is about racing, yes, but also about pushing for real change when it comes to how we treat our water and oceans. As a team, we’re proud to be part of that.”

Fellow pilot Sara Price added: “It’s great to be racing in such a beautiful location — and even better knowing we’re contributing to a bigger conversation. Our goal this weekend is to get on the podium, but also to represent what Westbrook Racing stands for: speed, action and impact.”
